Subject to the terms and conditions contained herein, Wood Origins Pte Ltd warrants to the purchaser that for a period of two (2) years from the date of installation in
the original customer’s location, the fluted wall panels will be free from manufacturing defects and perform in service when properly installed and maintained. If a
manufacturing defect occurs during the warranty period, Wood Origins Pte Ltd will at its option, repair or replace the defective material. This warranty is limited to the
original purchaser and is non-transferable
Product Warranty Coverage
This limited warranty only covers fluted wall panels that have been purchased and installed by Wood Origins Pte Ltd and our appointed subcontractors. Wood Origins Pte Ltd may repair or replace the defective product within the 2-year warranty period, but such replacement products must contain the same characteristics (same profile, colour etc.) as the original product purchased by the customer.
Should this product be discontinued or unavailable, a product of a similar range will be used instead. Subject to the limitations stated herein, this limited warranty covers products that have been maintained according to the Wood Origins Care and Maintenance set forth on the last page of this Letter of Warranty. It is applicable to both residential and commercial installations.
Exclusions:
This warranty does not extend to damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, excessive moisture and environmental factors. Additionally, it excludes:
- Any damage caused by actions taken by third parties not related to Wood Origins Pte Ltd, such as problems caused by incorrect preparation of the product, improper installation methods, or other modifications or manipulation of the original product.
- Wear and tear, exposure of the product to heat or direct Ultraviolet (UV) sunlight, improper use or abuse, excessive force, or use of abrasive or corrosive substances.
- Cracks, chips, dents or scratches unless they were caused by a defect in the Wood Origins product.
- A crack is not a defect if it is caused by excessive weight being applied to the surface (such as someone leaning onto the Product or the hanging of a heavy object onto the Product).
- Damage caused by thermal shock such as placing a hot object near the Product.
- Use of the product as a tabletop surface or flooring.
- Use of the product in any outdoor application where it is exposed to weathering or Ultraviolet (UV) radiation.
- Use of the product in or around swimming pools, spas or other wet places where it may be exposed to water.
- Use of the product adjacent to any type of heat source.
- Installation of the product by a third party who is not affiliated with or approved by Wood Origins Pte Ltd.
This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the product. If the original product is replaced, the warranty does not cover costs incurred and related to dismantling and installation of the replacement product after 1 year from the date of the original installation. Any other losses arising directly or indirectly, as a consequence of a defect in the product is also not covered. This list serves as an illustration of exclusion and is not exhaustive. Other similar problems not explicitly listed may also be outside the scope of this warranty.
Remedies
If a defect covered by this product warranty is discovered during the warranty period. Wood Origins Pte Ltd will, at our discretion, repair, replace, or refund the affected wall panelling material.
Workmanship Warranty Coverage
In addition to the product warranty, we offer a separate workmanship warranty on the installation of our fluted wall panels product.
This workmanship warranty covers defects arising from errors in installation workmanship. The workmanship warranty duration is 1 year from the date of the installation.
Exclusions:
- The workmanship warranty does not cover issues related to the quality of the wall panel materials themselves, such as delamination, which is covered under the product warranty. Labor and transportation costs will apply if the date of the issue reported to us exceeds 1 year from the date of installation.
- Our liability for any other losses arising directly or indirectly, as a consequence of defective workmanship will be limited to the cost of the original wall panelling material.
Remedies
If a defect covered by this workmanship warranty is discovered during the warranty period, Wood Origins Pte Ltd will, at our discretion, rectify the installation issue or provide compensation for the cost of reinstalling the wall panelling material.
Care and Maintenance Guide
- To maintain the appearance of your fluted panels, it is important to dust them regularly. Use a soft, lint-free cloth or a microfiber duster to gently remove any dust or debris.
- For tougher stains, use a cleaning solution made by mixing warm water with a mild cleaner.
- Before cleaning the entire wall, test the cleaning solution on a small area. Once you are ready to clean the entire wall, wet a sponge or soft cloth with the cleaning solution and wring out any excess water. Start at the bottom and work your way up in small sections, wiping the panels gently to avoid streaks.
- After wiping the panels, use a clean, dry cloth to dry them. If you would like to speed up the drying process, you can also turn on a fan to increase air circulation.
HOW TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM
If you believe that there is a defect in your Wood Origins fluted wall panels, and wish to make a claim under this warranty, you can do so by contacting us via email, WhatsApp, or customer support.
To obtain service under this warranty, you must permit Wood Origins Pte Ltd to inspect the place of installation. Also, you must reasonably cooperate with Wood Origins Pte Ltd in their efforts to service this limited warranty. All obligations of Wood Origins Pte Ltd under this warranty are contingent upon Wood Origins Pte Ltd being provided proper notice by the purchaser covered by the warranty and a reasonable opportunity for Wood Origins Pte Ltd to perform. Failure to allow for an inspection will void this warranty.
