Installation
- The warranty for all our distributed flooring products covers water damage and termite attacks.
- If the flooring is damaged by water or termite attacks, the end-user has the right to request Wood Origins Pte Ltd and our approved list of subcontractors to do a replacement or refund a reasonable cost of the flooring products installed.
- The warranty cover does not apply in situations when our flooring products are installed on extended fixtures such as platforms or when used in unusual projects such as wall panelling or ceiling.
- The warranty cover does not apply to warping of the flooring due to unevenness of the original flooring or subfloor prior to installation.
- It is the end-user and their respective contractor’s responsibilities to take ownership of any defects or damage caused by improper installation, without using certified floor installers from Wood Origins Pte Ltd.
- It is the end-user’s duty and decision to qualify their existing floor’s levelness as acceptable before arranging Wood Origins Pte Ltd to install our flooring products. Otherwise, we will only inform the end-user if we face any issues during the installation process, such as boards not being able to interlock properly due to unlevelness of the existing subfloor.
- Removing the floorboard to re-install in another location will immediately void the warranty.
- Tempering, removing, or repair works on the floorboard that is not done by Wood Origins Pte Ltd will also immediately void the warranty.
- If the end-user experiences an issue with a flooring colour option that has already been discontinued, Wood Origins Pte Ltd can offer the following solutions:
- Replace the damaged portion of the flooring with 1 of our current available colours.
- Replace the flooring with an equivalent product. In the event the end-user wishes to replace the whole area of the damaged flooring due to colour differences, we will offer the end-user a 30% discount for the new replacement installation (applies to installations done more than 10 years ago from the date of issue reported).
- Replace the flooring with an equivalent product. In the event the end-user wishes to replace the whole area of the damaged flooring due to colour differences, we will offer the replacement at no cost to the end-user (applies to installations done less than 10 years ago from the date of the issue reported).

Care and Maintenance Guide
- When cleaning, sweep or use a vacuum cleaner to pick up dirt and debris from the floor prior to mopping.
- Use cleaning solutions that are PH neutral.
- Do wipe up spills as soon as they occur and keep grains of sand and debris away by placing floor mats at entrances. By doing so, the finish of the floor can be kept safe and intact for a longer period of time.
- Do not use bleach or chlorinated compounds as it may cause discoloration.
- Do not use wax based cleaners, steel wools or scouring pads.
- Do not use a steam mop on your vinyl flooring.
- Use felt pads or protective coverings on furniture to prevent scratches on the vinyl flooring.
